Shaft couplings are actually the mechanical device that connects or couples the two drive element or shaft together for transmitting the power from one end to another. Couplings do not allow any shaft interruption during operation. Anyway, with the torque limiting couplings can disconnect when the limit of the torque is exceeded.

Constructed using high strength hardened stainless steel or glass impregnated polyamide flexures, the couplings require no maintenance, providing years of trouble-free life, even in contaminated environments.
The use of C-Flex couplings in mechanical systems to connect rotating shafts will result in lower energy usage and bearing failure, since less stress is placed upon bearings. Misalignment forces on the bearings of a rotating system generates heat which is wasted energy.
C-Flex couplings are normally provided with two set screws aligned at 90 degrees to each other for clamping to the shaft, however, they may be provided with C-Flex patent pending progressive clamp bushings, which will allow for secure mark free clamping of the coupling to a shaft.
Flexible Motor Coupling
Flexible couplings are used to link 2 rotating shafts that are not aligned in order to transmit the rotational power, known as torque, from 1 shaft to the other.
Most flexible couplings consist of 2 hubs and 1 middle assembly; each hub attaches to a shaft while the middle assembly flexes between the hubs to accommodate the misalignment of the 2 shafts.
Shaft misalignments are generally either parallel or angular and cause complications to transmitting rotational power from 1 shaft to another in the form of stresses, loads, vibrations, and other forces, which vary from 1 type of misalignment to another.
Flexible couplings are used in a broad range of applications, such as in motor vehicles, conveyors, escalators, agricultural, forestry and mining equipment, aeronautics, robotics and space exploration, among others.
Our range of solid couplings (rigid couplings) are available in stainless steel or aluminium, are primarily used for connecting two accurately aligned shafts. The design of the coupling which is available in either a one or two piece construction, prevents shaft marking or the screws from loosening during operation by precision honed bores and AGKNX anti-vibration hardware. The solid coupling range provides superior torsional holding strength.

Flexible Disc Spring Couplings
A number of different options of flexible disc spring couplings are available, based on both single and double disc spring construction. Please note that single disc spring couplings should only be used where the misalignment between the shafts is restricted to angular and axial.Single disc spring couplings cannot be used where radial misalignments are present.
The CZPT-2213 and 3019 type uses a novel design which places the clamps inboard of the disc springs to give the shortest possible overall length. The CZPT-3850 type has an extended centre piece which allows high radial misalignment capability whilst maintaining good accuracy of transmission.
Our membrane couplings are a light duty three piece constructed flexible shaft coupling with aluminium clamp hubs and an insulating reinforced fiberglass central element. The membrane coupling are an ideal compact solution for applications requiring zero backlash and electrical isolation.

Flexible couplings with oil injection mounting
EP oil injection method applied to flexible shaft couplings
By combining the principle of EP oil injection method on flexible shaft couplings, a high torque interference fit for plain, cylindrical shafts is obtained.
Since there is no need for machining any keyways, splines or tapered shafts, smaller shaft diameters can be used, thus less weight.
Mounting and dismounting are fast and easy with no external tools except a pump set.
